$360
Recommended for: focus on Personal Essay AND Mock Interview.
Includes: 2 hours of preparation/reviewal of material; 2 hours meeting for editing; 1 hour reviewal (for essay) AND 1 hour feedback (for interview).
Includes:
1 – Preparation/Editing: You will submit the personal essay prompt so I can assess how accurately your work connects to the requisite question(s). I will review and add brief notes (12-25) if there is an existing paper available. Otherwise, this is where you can tell me where you want to go with your essay (i.e. what points to highlight). Additionally, I will make a short, demonstrative essay sample to guide your understanding..
For Mock Interview: You will submit the rubric the admissions officers send you so I can create questions based on their format.
2 – Composition: Here is where we meet (either FaceTime, Zoom, or in-person) and go over what needs to be improved if there’s existing material. If we’re originating a statement together, this will be where we build the statement’s structure. I will recommend what information optimizes your essay or disadvantages your essay.
Mock Interview: Here is where we meet either via Facetime, Zoom, and I simulate your interview. I will structure your interview based on the material you submit to me and will follow it as closely as possible. (Note: this is a MOCK interview; this is only speculation – it is not a copy of what your interview will be like.)
3 – Final Draft: We will review your final draft together. This can happen in-person, FaceTime, Zoom, or however you choose.
Feedback: I will go over areas I noted in your interview that worked well, and then areas that need improvement. To conclude, I will offer recommendations on how to implement these improvements.
*I charge $75 an hour – this package not only locks you into my calendar for 6 guaranteed sessions, but is also 20% off 6x impromptu sessions*
